Hello Experts,

In E-Recruitment module,  I would like to know the difference between the Portal User Administration and SU01. Do we need to create and maintain the Users in both or can we do it @ SU01. Can you explain the difference and share some document on User Administration.

I basically need to create 2 users

  1. Manager [who can create the requisitions]
  2. Recruiter

Roles are assigned in the backend using tcode PFCG, e.g. Manager, recruiter roles with various authorizations etc, whilst portal roles are also required for the iviews - did you check the wiki page below as contains more info:

The Roles in Portal - Recruiter and Administrator role is for accessing the backed services on the portal (also e-rec bp).

But where as in Backed (SU01) roles are defined to the internal candidates based on there roles like recruiter or administrator or restricted recuiter etc...

If you goto SPRO  and Under E-REC pls go through the User administration documents which can explain what you are looking for.
