Hi All,

I have a question, is it possible to make the employee status Active for the user who is currently in LOA without processing the Return To Work transaction?

We had this scenario available until 1H2023 through Event Reason insertion through Insert New Record. But from 2H it is disabled by the Centralized Services so looking for a work around on this situation.

Thanks in advance

Hi Jasper

Thanks for your time.
The problem we have is with the return. Please see the below scenario, this is different than what mostly customers follow.

Record 1: Leave of Absence -> Employee Status changes to Paid Leave/Unpaid Leave

Record 2: We want to insert a record to make the employee status Active (but not by processing the Return to Work which will put back the employee's position etc. The reason behind this is, many times the employee can come back partially to work like 10/week.

Record 3: Return to Work -> Employee Status > will stay as Active since the previous insert is already made to Active the employee status. But this time, the Position will come back to the Job Info when processing this full return to work.

This case was working fine but because of the recent SF upgrade, the event reasons are not showing up in the Take Action/Insert new record if the employee status is Active in the Event Reason FO values.

Thanks

Did you try changing the status of the event reason used for start of leave to active or something?
