User ID & Password field when unregistered candidate clicks on apply button

Hi Experts,

We are on EHP6 & using unregistered job search service for external candidate. With this, candidate is able to search for the job. But when clicks on apply button, service hrrcf_a_applwizard is getting opened. Here the field for entering user ID & password is not available.

Then I maintained parameter PROVIDE_UNAME_FIELD in Backend Candidate -> Assign Values to Interface Parameters

with different values as

• R (only registration screen) -> default value
• A (only application start screen)
• B (both screens)

But still fields are not displaying...

Plz help if I am missing something.

Hi,

The problem was coming due wrong assignment of service user RCF_UNREGSER to the service HRRCF_A_APPLWIZARD.

Once removed, it worked.

Hi Experts.....

If I don't maintain any value for the parameter PROVIDE_UNAME_FIELD, then also Email is not sent to candidate which is the standard process.

Plz help.... & let me know if I am missing something to send Email to candidate after registration.

did you active the event of the workflow binding? does the wf-batch user have a candidate (NA)?

Which workflow needs to be activated?? I have activated all the workflows which are under SAP E-Recruiting node.

How to create NA for WF_BATCH user, as there is no employee assigned to it?

If you have activated all WF's than it should be ok. However, there are workflows also available if you use the new abap screens (they are called after activation of business function 2 or something like that).

You can create a candidate for the WF-batch user in the portal as a recruiter admin (create internal user). You can give a non existing personnel number (99999999 for example). There is no check on it.

We are not using the registration process with e-mail verification.

RECFA VERIF is blank.

The PROVIDE_UNAME_FIELD only works in combination with the verification process. That's why you don't see any changes. If you activate the verification process and maintain the provide_Uname_field the user can enter username and password
