User getting locked automatically

Hi Experts,

In SAP ECC 6, we are facing an issue that the service user RCF_UNREG is getting locked automatically. External candidates when ever are hitting on Registration page than due to user being locked are getting error.

I am not able to find how & why is the user getting locked automatically after a couple of hours daily.

Please advice.

Hi Puneet,

Can you see the reason why the user is getting locked? If it is due to a number of incorrect logons, I suggest you check your services in the SICF where this user is maintained. Probably, there is an incorrect password on one of those services.

can you check if the password was changed of the Service User or the user is limited in the SU01?

When the password was changed, because of unlocking it once - the new password should be updated in the relevant ICF services of the unregistered application scenarios.

In your case, please check the following ICF services (transaction SICF) for login data:

/sap/bc/erecruiting/registration

/sap/bc/erecruiting/applwzd

/sap/bc/erecruiting/posting_apply
