User administration in SAP Enable Now

Good day,

I have some troubles with user removing from root users' schedule. In serverhousekeeping, it is possible to delete only imported inactive users.

But i need to delete few manual users, I have deleted them roles and assignments but there are no elements in serverhousekeeping for removing.

May be I do some incorrect actions.

Best regards,

Sophia

Hi Sofia,

usually it there is no difference between manual and imported users, they should be deleted via Server Housekeeping as the requirements per Operations Guide page 31 are fulfilled.

In the Users menu did you also try to Purge the users data as per screenshot for those users?

If you cant see this option you have to activate it via Server Settings ( Enable "Enable Data Protection Feature")

Make sure that the user is deactivated and try to run the Users Housekeeping again.

Hope that helps, best regards, Michael

Hello Michael!

I have the same trouble. I did everything you mentioned above, but the User is still can not be deleted through housekeeping.

The log_report for that User says that All data attribute has been deleted

This Гser is one of the first users (old user) that were created when we had installed SEN for the very first time

Should we go to DB and watch some tables with some data for that User in order to delete in manualy?

Hi Sergey

with the next SAP Enable Now release 2206 (expected next weekend) there will now come finally a delete button in the user menu.

So I would suggest to try it with the new and easy approach.

If this also not work, please open up an incident to check it with our technical support team.

Best regards, Michael

Hello Michael!

Will "deletion button" functionality works only fo HANA DB or for SQL too?

Best regards, Sergey
