Hello team,
As per the US California legal requirement, there is a need to pay the Terminated employees as soon as they are terminated in the system.
we tried to use the off-cycle workbench to meet our requirement, but it is not helping us. Let me elaborate in detail.
Our USA Weekly employees pay period is defined from Sunday to Saturday with the payment date as following Friday.
Example: for Pay period 25.2023
period Start date is 06/04/2023
period End date is 06/10/2023
payment date is 06/16/2023
Now when the employee is terminated effective 06/13/2023 there is a need to pay him with a payment date of 06/14/2023 however due to above pay period 25.2023 payroll results existing, system is not able to take this 06/14/2023 payment date rather is proposing to use any date after 06/16/2023. This is the problem and need your expert help to accommodate this legal requirement in our landscape.
appreciate your support on this and let us know if you need any further inputs on this.
Thanks

Which off-cycle type have you tried? I would think you would use On-Demand Regular Payroll.
