Upgrade from any EHP (BSPs) to greater than EHP4 for E-recruiting

Hi all,

Our client is planning on an EREC upgrade from EHP3 to EHP6.

What specific steps or process needs to be followed for this!

I know that we need to activate certain business functions as relevant for the particular enhancement pack.

The client already has some custom developments in BSP. How to transform it to WD4ABAP!

If we don't consider these how to come up with new WD4ABAP applications , I mean custom ones; where to integrate them in config. !

It would be great if somehow can throw light on this!

Thanks Liran. It answered half of the question. I still need to know how to convert custom BSPs to WD4ABAP. I know it needs some estimation effort and I would just like to know any tips as starting points so that I can go ahead. By this what I mean is that I would need to understand data model changes if any for WD4ABAP. If so how to find it! If not I would need to create custom WD4ABAP and try to integrate it in the portal. Any clue if this is correct approach. If so what and where changes need to be done to fix these custom applications in between standard ones.

You will not be able to transfor your BSPs into WDA. You will have to rewrite your applications fully in WDA. You might be able to re-use underlying function modules etc but the programming paradigm is very different.
