uPerform won't record the button names (labels) is SAP

uPerform will not pick up the button name (label) in SAP when producing a simulation recording.  I've set the template to capture this and produce the Phrase "Click the %s %u %t." %s being the label.

It will capture the name of non-SAP buttons e.g. Windows and also all field names, SAP and non-SAP.

Is there a setting in SAP that controls this. If so how do I activate it?

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I have come across this before, try the following suggestion.

1) Open your template "***.udt".

2) Go to Phrases tab.

3) On the right pane, locate "Click the %u <b><font color="#CE1443">%s</b> %t."

4) Remove the part between <b> tags -  "<b><font color="#CE1443">%s</b>", then you get "Click %u %t."

5) Click Save button.

6) Test recording.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for this.

Good new is, my label name is now bold (which I'd forgot to apply before).

Bad news is, It's not solved my problem as uPerform will pick up some of the SAP button name labels but not the ones in the SAP standard toolbar.

Thanks anyway for the advice.

Regards,

Paul.
