Updating MS Office documents in SEN (SAP Enable Now) Producer and SEN Manager linked to book-page

I have linked few PowerPoint documents in book-page using Document link in Producer. I need to update them on regular basis. I have updated directly in producer but I could not see the updated results in manager. What is the right way to update so that it should reflect in manager as well?

Regards

Instead of uploading PowerPoint files to Producer, thereby signing the "lifelong maintenance slavery contract," please consider using Shared links to these assets, primarily when hosted in the MS SharePoint/OneDrive.

Regarding your issue, if the assets were correctly uploaded to Producer AND the changes to ALL involved objects are saved back to the server, everything should work fine. Because of your browser cache, you might not see your updates applied immediately. In this case:

  1. Open the browser developer tools
  2. On the Network tab Disable Cache
  3. Keeping the developer tools open, right-click on the browser page's Refresh button
  4. Choose Empty Cache and Hard Reload

"Bookbags". That's an interesting term! So you have a Book (or Book Page) that has a PowerPoint file as an asset of it? You can re-load the file using the Update File or Replace File buttons. But because they are assets of the Book, you need to save the Book to the server before those new files will be available in Manager (or anywhere else). That method has always worked for me (not specifically with .PPT, but other file types). Are you seeing it work differently? Or have I misunderstood what you are trying to do?
