Updating BrokerNOSource

Hello, is there a way to update "BrokerNO source".     This is causing downstream reporting issues for us and we were hoping there is a way to update it.   When we try to edit it in producer master and click on the record.  It acts like you’re going to be able to reopen it and make changes, but once you select reopen it just automatically refreshes and says “Save was successful” without any updates being made.

Hi Jim,

This field is auto generated to link the Broker and Vendor together when the Broker is created using the Broker Entry Configuration. As you may know, this field in critical in calculating User Metrics to prevent counting the same Broker and Vendor twice.  From the Data Dictionary: Reference to the 'source' Broker. This is populated only for those Vendors that are automatically generated from the Broker or for Vendors that are synced during Broker posting. Use BrokerEntryConfiguration to enable this feature. This field is system generated and should not be user-editable.  In the past, we have used SQL Scripts to update the BrokerNoSource as part of User Metric Cleanups.  Hopefully this response will point you in the right direction....
