Updating a field in design worksheet

Hello,

I updated a field in the Design Worksheet in Compensation module and refreshed all my Worksheets. However, in Executive Review, the field is still not pulling the data from the employee's profile. I don't understand why not.

If you changed your field mapping to EC then you need to delete and relaunch worksheets in order to see this change.

Even if the mapping was already to EC, just not the right Pay Component was being pulled.

Yes, you can't just change the mapping on launched worksheets regardless of the change. If you changed from one pay component to another you won't see this change without relaunching. So if you were mapping to an incorrect pay component and changed to another pay component, you won't see this change until you delete and relaunch.

You're very welcome! A few examples of things you can update without relaunching are lookup table contents, guidelines and field-based permissions. You cannot update/change anything that I would consider "design" such as settings (reportable, reloadable, etc) and mappings are not able to be changed after worksheet. The system may allow you to make and save your change but it won't be reflected without a relaunch. Hopefully this helps! This isn't a comprehensive list but just a general rule of thumb.

What did you update? For most changes to fields in design worksheet you'd need to relaunch the worksheets if you changed a mapping and/or formula.

I updated the EC component as it was not pulling the right field. I don't have any formulas for this either.
