Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to change the validity period of an existing leave type, can this be met by writing a PCR.
Example: We have an Absence Type “Comp Off” which is currently configured with the Validity start date as accrual period and Validity end date as the work Schedule end date. The requirement is to change the validity Start date to a standard date 07/01/xxxx and Validity end date to pay period end date of last check date in June of every year (this date may change every year). This change will only be applicable for the year starting from 2025 and also only to nonexempt employees.
Request to please guide me with a solution.

Hi Shahnaaz,
I don't believe that you can change the dates of an existing IT2006 record using PCRs. Once you change your configuration to the 7/1 start date, then you will probably need a program to delimit an existing records to 6/30 end date. From there, time evaluation should generate the records according to your new configuration.
Please check with your ABAP team to see if they have any utility programs that you could use to delimit the records. If not, they should be able to build one for you.
Thanks,
Cindy
