Update from server in Producer

Hi experts,

May I know exact usage of Update from Server option in Producer ? At what type of situations do we use it ?

Well, one is saving TO the server, the other us retrieving FROM the server. I suppose you could argue that conceptually they are similar in that they both ensure YOUR Producer has the same version as the server, but no, they are fundamentally opposites.

When you think someone has changed an object since you last synchronized your Producer Workarea, and you want to retrieve the latest copy from the server to your Producer. It's faster than synchronizing the entire Workarea.

Will Save to Server option do the same job at this type of situation ? In other words, What is the difference between Save to Server and Update from Server ?
