Update Employee Type in Learning

Hello. I am trying to change/update a user's record to remove Contractor (CTR) from the Employee Type field. This was done in error after merging two accounts together (formally a contractor, but hired on as an employee so the training records needed to be merged). Previously I used the Finance tab to change this, but I understand this workaround no longer works. Has anyone found a solution on how to correct this field?

@NicoleMK, you could try it out via the Import Data feature, "User" Entity Type. Just note that if that user is updated via connector, the field might get modified.

Thank you! I ended up using your suggestion to change the User Source System, which then allowed me to change the Employee Type field by changing Finance settings, then used import data to update the data source back to correct system.
