Dear all,
on my (EC-integrated) Variable Pay Form I have a column that is editable. Only certain people are eligible for this column to be editable, for some people it is greyed out. This is set up in an EC eligibility rule.
I launched a worksheet, then changed the criteria in the eligibility rule, selected "Apply" eligibility rules, and updated the worksheet. I expected the field to no longer be greyed out for some employees but this doesn't happen.
For Compensation this is working properly because of the option to select "apply eligibility changes" in the "Update Worksheet" mask. For VP this does not seem to work.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I just tested it and you are correct there is no checkbox in VP (unlike Compensation) that would allow us to apply eligibility changes made through the Manager Eligibility Rule so I also wasn't able to grey out just one column at the summary level in my test case.
I would assume it's never been supported but will ping our Product team tomorrow.
The only alternative I can think of would be to use the global eligibility rule to grey out the whole user.
All the best
Xavier

Thanks it's a valid business case although I must say I've never heard of a configuration like that in Variable Pay so process wise it sounds like a stretch to me.
Will bring it to Product Team's attention again and share the influence request on Linkedin to see if we can get more votes for it.
Thank you

Sorry to ask again but why are you using the Manager Form Eligibility Rule ?...
do you need to use 3 dates to control eligibility ? Why can't you use the two rules available under Plan Setup > EC Settings. I've never had to use Manager Form Eligibility Rule.
See this discussion: https://community.sap.com/t5/sap-successfactors-compensation-user-group/manager-form-eligibility-rul...
Once we have a valid use case for its use + a enhancement request we can push with Product (I am not Product).
Thanks !
