Update Application template fields using Integration Center

We are trying to update the application template field values using integration center as we have to update the field value for almost all applicants.When we tried, almost 50% of them failed with the following error message.
JobApplication: UPSERT failed for the row with key: . Reason: jobApplicationQuestionResponse required, jobApplicationQuestionResponse required, jobApplicationQuestionResponse required, jobApplicationQuestionResponse required, for templateId 122 , . The row will not be processed for subsequent entities

I have reviewed some KB’s and documents and I only found what support provided in their response.As per SAP support & the KB documents, we have to make all the questions non mandatory by going through every requisition manually, which is not feasible in our case. So, we are looking for some alternative solution.
