Unable to select external editor in producer

Hi,

I am unable to select external editor whenever I need to edit a screenshot of a simulation.

When I select page macro -> Replace Image -> External Editor, it is opening Adobe Reader. Few days back it was correctly opening MS Paint.

I used Select External Editor option to choose exe files but this error message is displayed. Please refer below screenshot.

Yeah, I've had that problem in a few releases of Windows (did you get an update recently?). It's a Windows issue, tied to permissions on the Group that contains mspaint.exe, not SAP Enable Now. I usually switch to SnagIt Editor until it comes back.

Can you please guide how to switch to other editor?

Hi Mani,

You will have to install Snagit first but after doing that the executable will be located under c:\program files\techsmith\ folder. I think the executable is called SnagitCapture.exec.
