Hi Team,
we have recently upgraded the SAP EnableNow and also we are seeing some of the extra tiles assigned to user which we don't need (see the attached screenshots tiles which we don't want)
We don’t want our employees to open a Support Incident or visit the SAP Support Portal, etc.. or perform extra clicks to get to the training content. we used to see immediately after logging in. We’d like to bypass this new splash screen (extra-tiles-on-sap-enablenow-initial-screen.jpgscreenshot) all-together if we can? or at least, be able to remove some tiles that are not relevant to our employees.
I know Tiles could be with Roles i have tried check is there extra roles for this tiles and actually there is no extra roles added for the users but users are still getting those extra tiles and suppose if we remove the learning role even though its appearing those extra tiles.
so basically if you add roles or remove all roles (no roles to user at all) still getting those extra tiles.Could you please suggest how I can do this?
Thanks,
Regards,
Raja.

Hi rajabasis,
Short answer: this is not possible.
Long answer: to bypass the Home screen please use the SAP Enable Now URL that ends up with #learner i.e. https://XXXXXX.enable-now.cloud.sap/#learner. In this case users, w/o authoring permissions will be forwarded directly to the Learner View screen.
AFAIK, SAP Enable Now PM team already got the request from customers to make learners to bypass the Home screen and immediately open the Learner View, because it makes almost no sense for them to see it. Not sure, what the current status is, that's why I'm involving kristina.tanz. Hopefully, she can provide more information.
Modifying SAP Enable Now menus like Create Support Incident is absolutely not possible for the SAP Enable Now Cloud. Could be possible theretically for the SAP Enable Now On-premise, because you have full access to the application source code and may modify it according to your needs.
Best,
Anton

Hi rajabasis and anton.mavrin ,
currently there is no open development item to have learners bypass the home screen, but your URL workaround looks like a good solution to me Anton.
Also the menu for the learners was changed with the Nov 2021 release, now it doesn't include the support options anymore for users with only the learner role.

Take care,
Kristina
Thanks for the confirmation Shane.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Raja,
Unfortunately, there appears to be no easy way to remove the relevant functionality from the Home screen in Manager; there is no permission or server setting to do this. So, in the short term until this omission is addressed by development, I suggest you consider Anton's great suggestion to use the alternate URL to take your users directly to the Learner View tab, which is the place they need to be anyway.

Shane
