Hi All!
Currently we are implementing SAP E-Rec for Ehp7 with a client and testing in DEV client is ongoing. We are using Webdynpro applications incorporated in the HR Renewal UI. Our E-Recruiting and HR Core runs in the same system.
I am still learning E-Recruiting as of the moment so I am testing using standard E-Recruiting roles and best practices from the RDS of SAP E-Recruiting.
Now our client would like to have the following requirements:
- Two different recruiter users which can create/edit/release THEIR OWN requisitions/job postings/assignments.
- The other recruiter SHOULD NOT BE ABLE to edit/change/release the requisitions/job posting/assignments of the other recruiter.
But while testing the two recruiter users (with the same standard role SAP_ERC_RECRUITER_CI_4), one of them is able to edit the other's requisition even though he is not assigned in the support group of that requisition. The other recruiter is also able to create additional job postings for that certain requisition he does not belong to as a support group member. I have read about the restricted recruiter role, but these roles would not allow them to release a requisition and a job posting.
Given the client's requirements, how would I be able to do the restrictions/authorization needed for the different recruiter. Would structural authorization work for the different recruiters? Please help

Hi Ryan,
I am afraid you would need an own authorization concept for that. Recruiters can always change every requisition.
What you could think about is to don't enable them to see all requisitions. So if you just enable the POWL queries "my requisition", "my team requisitions" and "my draft requisitions" for example. Then they see only their requisition and not those of others.

Nicole

Hi Ryan,
You mean how to delete those queries?
You can do it in POWL_QUERYR or report POWL_D01 (see also: POWL Reports - Web Dynpro ABAP - SCN Wiki)
