turning off ERD in Employee Central

Hello,

Very often when I make a change the system says " No event reason found for ____ (user)".

As Event reason derivation is causing this issue, I would like to turn it off (or find another solution for this problem). How can I turn off Event Reason Derivation?

Sounds like a configuration mistake then, maybe one of the event reasons used in it is inactive?
Event derivation can normally be turned off in provisioning and you can of course remove the rule too that you are using for it.

Jasper, what shall I uncheck in Provisioning to turn erd off?

Well if configured correctly, you can just disable the business rule. Either way if you remove the final checkbox below it won't work anymore anyway (assuming no XML was uploaded with code to facilitate it).
Employee Central V2 also kills it, but I believe you loose some important features.
