Hello,
We understand it is standard functionality (per KBA 2208102 - A change to Compensation Information does not trigger a Workflow in Employee Central (sap....) that it is not possible to trigger a workflow when only changing comp info. You can only trigger workflow for Job change data.
When you go to the Actions drop down and click Comp change, a workflow is triggered, but if you go to the Pencil icon on the Comp Pay portlet, and select Comp as the only type of change, it will not trigger a workflow.
I know from previous companies that there is a workaround for this, but don't know what the config was.
Other that the workaround in the KBA I listed above, how do you trigger a Comp change workflow when clicking the pencil and doing on a comp edit?
Request clarification before answering.
