transfer the old contingent account type accruals to the new in job info record

This is a Time Off SuccessFactors related question.

I have changed the time profile to a new one for employees on the date February 1, 2023, as of that day people will have a new time profile.

What I am noticing is that I can only see on the same time account screen both contingents/cube if both time accounts exist in the same time profile, either by having 2 different time types containing it or by having both in 1 time type.

The case is that even if I have both time account types in the same time profile, I would like to transfer the remaining accruals from the old time account type/time profile to the new one, but no matter how much end of period process I try to do manually, it just passes it to the contingent of the same time account type, but does not transfer it to the new one.

To summarize:

I would like to transfer the old time profile/contingent account type accruals to the new existing one (which is a different time account type) in the employee job info record. Is that possible or can I only do that when working with the same time account type?

Unfortunately, it's a known limitations that you cannot transfer to a different time account that way (only if it's within the same time account type). The only way to transfer it from a to b is with interim account updates (so you'll need a process in place to run that in a cadence). On the old account you'll basically write the old balance before nullifying it on a custom field on the time account. On the new account you basically let the interim account update lookup the old balance to have it transferred.
