Hello All,
I am curious how you track rehires in the system. We currently have four dates that we use: Original hire date, Hire date, Service date, and System Effective date. If you have an employee that is rehired more than one time, wondering how you track this. I can look and see individual records with this data but wondering if you have like a rehire date #1, rehire date #2, etc. Original hire date is just what is says, hire date is the more recent rehire date or could be the same as the original hire date, service date drives our benefits and then system effective date is the date the employee started using the system. Many times these dates are the same, but rehires are different. Please let me know how your company handles rehires.
