Hi All,
PTP connection between EC to ECP.
I am deriving the wage type amounts based on the Payscale structures. (Pay scale Type/Area/Group/Level)
However, for a few set of employees, I need to have a fixed Basic salary, not deriving from Pay Scale Structure. But Pay scale level/Area/ Group are all mandatory fields in PA30
How can I selectively make the fields not mandatory for these few employees?
Thanks

Yes, no indirect valuation logic in ECP world. Whatever amount maintained in EC should be replicated in ECP.

In ECP, there is no concept of TARIF etc. You can have a simple pay scale structure and default all the replicating pay scale structure from EC into that single pay scale structure. This is the standard EC-ECP practice.
The defaulting of wage type and amount should happen in compensation portlet in EC and there by be replicated into ECP.

Hi Vivek,
Thanks for your response.
So, can I assume that irrespective of the Payscale structure maintained in ECP system, the Wage types' values are all going to be fetched from the pay components stored in the Compensation portlet of EC system? (As long as I maintain the Wage type valuation as direct
Kindly advice
Thanks
