To division field is not prepopulated when a child entity is added from division

Hello Experts,

When I create a department from a division (using add child entity functionality) the "to division" field is not coming prepopulated with the above division. In the department object, there is the association:

cust_toDivisionOne To ManyBusiness Level 02Valid When

Is there anything else we should do?

Do you have permission to Create Department in MDF Foundation Object ? Can you create this same department using Manage Data section?
