Hi,
Is it possible to add a time stamp to the hands on guide showing when the guide were last updated. It would be nice if the system were able to do it, so the author didnt have to do it themselves. Date is fine, but date and time would be ideal.
Thanks.
Thomas

Hello Thomas,
yes, this is possible. You are using a word template to create the guide, so all you have to do is put a time / date field on the word template.
Create a copy of the template which you can find in Producer in Resources > Adaptable Resources > Documentation Style > SAP - Single Document (or any other word template you're using).
Then you can edit that copy and insert a Field or a Doc Property in Word. It's in Insert > Text > Quick Parts. And you can chose the date you want, maybe CreateDate or SavedDate.

Afterwards, save your new template as .dotx and upload it into the Producer. Then set this new template as template for your Hands-On Guide and you're done. The process of changing a template is also documented in the Infocenter > Component > Manuals > Producer > Templates.
Hope this helps, if so please mark this question as answered. Take care!

If you don't want to update the Word template (which will affect all document types that use it), you could add a Fragment to the Hands-On Guide (only) that inserts a Text Unit that includes the modification_time Property. (The format isn't as nice, but...)
