Time Off - Restrict Absence Entry for different accrual but same Time Account

Is there a way of controlling the bookable period of two different accruals earned in the same time account? For example,

Time account validaty 1-Jan-23 to 31-Dec-23 | Bookable period 1-Jan-23 to 31-Dec-24

Accrual triggered by Add Dependent

Accrue 10 days on 1-Feb-23 (this absence can only be consumed for 1-Feb-23 to 31-Jan-24)

Accrue 10 days on 1-Nov-23 (this absence can only be consumed for 1-Nov-23 to 31-Oct-24)

I am currently trying to use validation rule to control, but cannot fnd to restrict. For example, if the absence is for 1-Mar-24, it will end up consuming the balance from the first 10-days of accrual even though we want it to "expire" on 31-Jan-24.

Even with a take rule that would be rather challenging if not impossible. Ideally you'd have a different account for it.
