Greetings, we at Commerzbank currently have a request from one of our locations to enable managers to request absences for their direct reports ONLY if these are already ESS enabled. This means, we wouldn't just give them access to all the Time-Types via the workbench, but rather limit their Time-Type list to be similar to the ones employees have as well. The business justification for this request is that local HR has many policies/document checks for certain absences and they wish to have sole control over these. Unfortunately, this can't be done via RBPs to the best of our knowledge and the option to control the requests via Admin workflows is sub-optimal at best here, due to the fact that when they as HR admins enter these absences, they would also be subjected to these workflows.
Any work-around suggestions / reference to existing Enhancement requests or general input would be appreciated

hi Esther,
the only option is to put a take rule.
put a rule for each of absence type to check if the login user is target user’s manager then throw an error.
or put all the HR in a permission group. If login user is not in the permission group throw an error.
Hope it helps.
regards
Sanjay
