Theme Manager - Portlet "X" Colour

We've used a dark heading background for our Portlets, V12 tiles and tables, with white text as per our organisational branding requirements.

Challenge is - I am having trouble figuring out what colour the "X" in the top corner for the Portlet is linked to. It's not linked to the portlet "Link colour", as one would expect.

Can anyone tell me how to change it?

Hi Sarah,

The icon color should respect the configuration below, depending on the page, as per Help Portal Theme Settings: Portlets | SAP Help Portal:

  • Theme Manager > Fine tune > portlets > Header button icon (you can choose from dark or light) or
  • Theme manager > Fine Tune > portlets > Header text color

If it does not respect the this configuration, I'll kindly ask you to raise an incident for further investigation under component LOD-SF-PLT-THM.

I've lodge ticket 1058734 / 2023 for this issue.

sarahrothery the color for this button is defined by the system, however, there's a workaround which might achieve your goal. If you export a copy of custom theme, edit the secondaryButton.textColor value, then import it back into the system, you'll see the updated color.
