The screen gets cut-off in the Job-Aid

Once the Job-Aid or the Training Document is generated, it does not show the full screen in the steps. Instead, the screen gets cut-off! Only the selected area on which action has been performed is appearing on the Documents.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions how we can mitigate this issue? Thanks!

P.S. Have done restarting the producer and syncing it in order to update the settings but it did not work.

Hi eworoch,

Michael's advise will work for the new projects, to uncrop screenshots in the existing simulations, please do the following:

1. Open Simulation project
2. Click on Edit - Select macros by Type
3. Select Screen and click OK
4. Now all screens are selected in your simulation
5. On the Screens properties panel under the Documentation section locate the setting Screenshot Position
6. Click on the arrow next to this parameter and choose Delete values (see my screenshot)

Hi Emma,

could it be that you have used manual crop or the auto crop function?

Auto crop is in the Producer settings under Authoring Settings / Recording / Simulation & Documentation (checked box Auto Crop)

Can you right click on the effected screen and click on uncrop and regenerate the document?
