The application is getting submitted without mandatory fields

Hi,

I have a client from banking industry and we have implemented e-recruitment module i.e EHP6. However, I have come across an issue that on External candidate page link & Create external application page link we have made mobile number as a mandatory field. The issue is applications received against the requisition in which the mobile number field is blank. Though I have checked in production also the check is available on mobile number.

The received applications are in Process against the requisition. Kindly help to understand that how come the mobile number is getting blank however, the check is available.

Hi Sarika,

Please check whether you have used the same component configuration for the personal data pages as for the application wizard application pages. Otherwise, you could have one screen showing the mobile number as a mandatory field and the other showing the mobile number as optional.

Thanks for your responce. I have checked the same component config on application wizard but checks are available but still i m receiving in process applications with blank mandatory details.

This is something that we have noticed during earlier implementations. I suggest that you create an OSS message for this or that you make a post enhancement on method CHECK_COMM_DATA of view VW_PERSONALDATA of webdynpro component HRRCF_C_PERSONL_DATA_UI.
