Target Date increases by one day in SEN Manager when accessing or Saving the TASKS tab

The Target Date increases by one day (after one has been set) for objects in Manager whenever a user enters the TASKS tab (the user is prompted to Save prior to leaving), or whenever the user makes any change in the TASKS tab.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Log in to Enable Now.
  2. In Manager, navigate to an object (for example, a Book Page)
  3. Click on the TASKS tab.
  4. Assign a Target Date (for example: 6/16/2020)
  5. Click the Save button

EXPECTED RESULT

The entered date is saved in the Target Date field.

ACTUAL RESULT

The date saved has been increased by one day (6/17/2020) – Please see the attached screen prints below

NOTES:

Additionally, the Target Date increases by one day every time the TASKS screen is accessed (Manager prompts the user to Save Changes. Upon Save, Enable Now further rolls the day up by another day).

Paradies is experiencing this issue, but I was able to reproduce it in the demo environment as well (please see the attached screen prints). I did not test this in On Prem.

SCREEN PRINTS

1 Set the Target Date

2 Click Save

3 The Target Date goes up by one day every time the user interacts with the TASKS screen

WORKAROUND:

There is an available workaround, which consists on manually re-entering the correct Target Date every time the screen is accessed. Also, if the user didn't make any changes they can choose to not Save (click Cancel).

This is not technically a question... please let me know if this is not the right forum for reporting this issue and I’ll be happy to submit it in the appropriate system.

Did you check you system Clock on your PC? I have seen this when I am working in different time zones that it will apply a time i did not intend.

Is your system clock and date off?

Hope that helps

Jesse

Hi jbernal2016 ,

Thank you for your reply.

I think this one is an actual bug, because the date increases by one day every time you interact with the screen.

What is the best way for me (a C user) to submit a bug to the Enable Now team?

Best regards,
