Talent Relationship Management for also external candidates

Hi Experts

Using portal as recruiter in e-recruiting I checked the option Talent Relationship Management in order to find out candidates from old job applications to detect new employees before any other expensive measures such as placing job advertisements.

However, the result of the searches reports me data from only internal candidates.But when I run the query through "candidates´ selection" I can  search candidates through the external Job Applications and I can see their information there.

I checekd the status field of HRP5102 (0 -> profile locked, 1/2 -> profile released) but it didn't work.

What should I check in customizing to also reach external candidates from Talent Relationship Management pool?

Hello Carolina,

Indeed, only external candidates with a released profile will come out in the result of your TRM search. You have to make sure external candidates check the option "release" when completing their profile.

Thank you very much Julien, however it was the first thing I checked. I also have set "release" for 20 candidates and then I tried to run the search with the last name… no success.

Also I checked with basis team and they said they reviewed the Trex and they didn´t  found operational problems.

I can´t find other options.

Have you re-indexed TREX after you set the profile to "released" also?

Hi Carolina,

Can you please double check the status of the candidate is updated to Release in both the candidate overview and HRP5102 and also try and check the PDF overview of the candidate just to confirm that the data indicates that the candidate is released.

When that is completed and if everything is as excepted please check that the configuration is correct for the search/TREX via IMG -> SAP E-recruiting -> Tools -> Check Settings for Search.

When that is configured correctly, then go and check the TREX indexing via SES_ADMIN transaction. Here you can trigger an indexing of the candidates manuel by selecting the ERC_CAND object NA and then pressing Index now.

After completed the above - please try and perform an search again. If still the same please visit notes: 1292143, 817145 and 815866 and retrace your setup of the TREX.
