Talent Groups - Complete Registration on behalf of a candidate

We are on Ehp4.  We have not been using the Talent Group functionality but the recruiting team has expressed desire to now implement.  One question I have is I noticed the a "Complete Registration" option is being delivered in Ehp5 that allows the recruiters to enter the registration on behalf of a candidate (perhaps they have a paper resume from a job fair etc). 

When we upgraded to Ehp4 at the end of 2010, some of the items in ehp5 actually came in.  I have searched and do not see the option to set up "Complete Registration".   Has anyone implemented this feature and if so can you tell me how it was configured?  I just want to make sure I am not missing something and can actually utilize this funcationality prior to another upgrade.

Any assistance anyone could provide would be appreciated!

Hi Kelly,

You mean the function "complete registration" in the "open registration" POWL, right? That's part of the EhP5 functionality to be able to verify emails. So you don't have that query in EhP4.

Thank you for your response. I misunderstood the functionality of that complete registration button within the open registrations query.  That button is simply to "complete" the registration that a candidate has already started. 

What I really need to know is a recruiter admin or recruiter can enter an application on behalf of a candidate manually using the transaction "Complete External Application". Here they can assign the application to a posted requisition using the reference code number or to an application group. 

Is there such funcationity that allows a recruiter or recruiter admin to manually enter a candidate into eRec to be assigned to a Talent Group?  In the instance they collect a resume at job fairs etc.  We do not yet have the third party software that allows a recruiter to scan a resume on behalf of a candidate.

If this funcationality exists, I can't seem to find it, any help would be appreciated!

Hello Kelly,

No, you can only assign a candidate to a talent group once it has released the profile. So what you could do is to create an application group per event and create such an application via the 'create manual extern application' and choosing there the proper application group.
