Symbolic and G/L account mapping (PY-IN)

Hi Gurus,

I have to create a new wagetype for Regular employees. However, for this wagetype GL account will be different but under the same Symbolic account.

We are already using PPMOD to determine the Emp Group, but in this case Employee group is same. How do I configure it so that for this particular wagetype amount is transferred to a NEW GL account under same Symbolic account?

Refer to the screenshot, New wagetype will be applicable for the Employee Subgroup in screenshot but should have a different GL under same Symbolic account.

Please help. I hope I was able to make my issue clear.

Hi..

Symbolic account + Grouping+ GL to be filled in T030 table is the only combination you have, as you may see on that table combo Symbolic + Grouping can only result in a single GL, therefore if you want another Wage Type it must use a different Symbolic to be mapped out in T512EL_COMP by doing that you will have a different symbolic per wage type and it doesn't matter if Group is the same in PPMOD.

If something extremely difficult in combinations is required there is also the possibility to use -EXIT_RPCIPE00_001
