Hello,
As the Supervisor got hired after the subordinate, when I edit this in People Profile - Job Information Pencil ( not clock) , it appears that also the subordinate has a new position from Supervisors hire date. I do want the subordinate to have the same position, not a new position automatically created with code (Position_10 , Postion_11). I do want only the supervisor record to change, not the position. See screenshot attached please.
How to set this?

This is linked with your Event Reasons. The event reason which you are using has some settings inside it. You can find them by using Manage Org, Pay and Job Structure. Find the event reason which is used to change manager and then make sure "Position Reclassification" and "Position Transfer" is turned on. After that in "Position management settings" you will find a setting under "Synchronization" called as Search for Position Reclassification and Position Transfer which needs to be turned on.
