Hello,
I've been trying to stop workflow escalation before they reach the CEO, is it possible to achieve this? Or for example, set up a specific number of levels or times to escalate?
I've been looking at the configuration, but I haven't been able to find a solution for that yet
Thanks

Based on what you seem to desire, the above will likely not provide the desired results and there is no fitting option for the escalation itself as it's restricted to roles like HR / Manager.
With escalation there's always a chance it reaches the CEO, because the CEO is normally also the manager of someone. I doubt it would make sense to ensure the CEO doesn't have direct reports (especially for the comp module that would be bad), but is there a reason why they didn't give the CEO a dummy/placeholder email or email of the secretary? Because I've never seen a CEO actually log in for doing HR Stuff anyway (so why receive notifications on the CEO's email in the first place)? You could even choose to just change the email in the user data file and not in the email portlet to ensure there's still a correct reference in there.

Thank you Alina and Luis.
the context is that we still want to have the escalation in place, we just don’t want those to get to the CEO. I don’t see any spot in the configuration to stop the escalation or add a business rule to skip the the CEO’s position.
Do you think you can give me more details on where to add any of those ideas?

Hi Alex,
A business rule that bypasses the manager's position equal top CEO, wouldnt it work?

Hello, alex.monteverde ,
If you choose in Manage data - Escalation Stop the Workflow in the field No Approver Behavior, then the workflow will not be escalated automatically.
Also there you can specify the number of calendar days, after which, if there is still no action from the person defined in the Escalation Route From field, the escalation is triggered (Escalation After Days field).
Best regards,
Alina
