Hello everybody,
we are using Succession so far without EC (Positions coming into the system via import) but are planning to implement EC soon. My question is now whether the so far planned succession data will be lost or if the nominated successors will also appear once EC and Position Management have been implemented?
Any other topics I need to keep in mind for Succession when EC is being implemented?
Thank you and best regards!

Hi Cle,
Thanks for your further questions. I would like to further explain the following two points:
1. Since you are using MDF nomination method, the position ID should remain the same.
2. For the nomination info, we use position ID + User ID to trace it. So if the user ID keeps the same, there is no impact before and after EC implementation.

Hello @beibei ! Thank you for your answer.
What if the existing nomination method is "MDF Position" for an EP only instance ?
Then, during the implementation of EC with position management the nomination method will remain the same (MDF Position) but with a sync with EC position repository right ? What if the position data are not the same between the EC Position and the formal succession MDF Position Org chat without EC ? Are you sure the nominations / successors information will be kept ? Because the position ID for example will change ?
For exemple I will have in a same instance some EP only users (already using Succession with MDF Position nomination method) + some EC users. If the sync is done thanks to EC position, what about the existing position of EP users ? They will be deleted if they are not EC users ?
Thank you for your help !
