SuccessFactors Recent Hire Date Default?

Hello All,

We set up a new environment, and without getting to the point to import employment data into SF, somehow by default at People profile appears at every user a Recent Hire Date: jan 1 1900. Even as a superadmin the system not allows to modify it on UI. How could I do it? Is it in connection with the new release?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Titanilla,

There is a field named 'HIREDATE' in Basic Employee Import. May be you have uploaded default value as 01/01/1900 for all during the import?

Thank you,

Thank you Jasper, no jobinfo yet to anyone. So should I export exactly what? Export you mean make a report?

Thank you very much!

It is strange, but not the first time I've seen it.
Do these users have job info? Because you shouldn't be able to adjust the hire date (only via changing the job info record). If they do and the start date of the 1st record is 1/1/1900 it would explain a lot and you could best change the job info record.
If this is causing issues and the users do not have job info (or they have job info starting later than 1/1/1900), the best way to fix this is via an export of the affected users and by importing the correct hire date (in terms of report I'd be looking at a table report part of Person and Employment Export ideally).
