Successfactors - Position Report with Span of Control

Hello Community

At our Company, we have a need to report on Position with the inclusion of span of control. For each position that has at least one or more positions reporting up to it, we wish to have the total number of subordinate positions. In addition, it would be a benefit if the total number was broken into direct vs indirect reporting positions.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Thank-you Karen. I have downloaded the canvas report previously but was under the impression it could only show 5 levels deep on the org. I'll look to modifying the report as we have 6 hierarchical levels. I see now in the position org chart for each position, it shows levels, etc.

Ideally we'd like to create a story rather than a canvas report but I'll start with the standard delivered canvas report and look to modifying.

You can find this information direct from the Position Org Chart, as per below (image from demo):

Or you can have a report to see it in a table view.

Attached I share with you a sample canvas Position Hierarchy Report Template (5 Levels) for you to import in your instance and modify accordingly (please note that your configuration may be different from the sample, so please click to edit the report and add or remove the necessary fields and filters).

Good Afternoon,

What if you do really want all the additional level to be displayed.

So pretty much what you are showing in the position org chart but then in a report overview.

We have more then 5 levels.

Is there a way to overcome this limitation?
