I am trying to consume SuccessFactors OData endpoints from a non-SAP application
I am following the process defined here - Authentication APIs for OAuth 2.0 and trying to acquire a user token I can use to make OData calls.
I am confused by the need to pass in the user_id. My application does not know who the user is - that is the sort of information I would normaly rely on the OAuth process to handle.
