SuccessFactors New People profile - Questions

We are setting up the new people profile and have not been able to find any information on the following:

1. Defaulting employees to the Company Profile and not the Full Profile when they search for someone.  

2. On the Full Profile , employees with no access to see other employee's banking information in RBP see the Banking Card on Personal Information even they do not have access to other employees banking information.   Can this banking card only be given to certain groups like HR?

And for Company Profile, do you mean the spotlight? When searching a user, if you click on user name, it will direct you to full profile. If you click on the card icon, it will direct you to spotlight (please see attached). Hope this clarifies.

We have identified several issues with the New People Profile up to this point, one of them is also the permissions defined for personal information fields. It seems that the personal information view of the employee is not repsecting hidden fields for a specific user, like in the way this done when they click to Edit or on History View. Is this pending to be fixed? Thanks,

Hello, for personal info issue, could you please check if the user has permission: Employee Central HRIS OData API (read-only). If you have this permission, then you can view all Employee Central entities on People Profile. Please refer to KBA https://me.sap.com/notes/0003527163 , this KBA also includes some known issues and FQAs.

Hi @Kayla - Based on our integration to XECM OpenText we need to have this permission on Employee Central HRIS OData API (read-only). Is there a work around or planned fix coming for this?

Hi @Kelly_Segovia , for your integration, is this permission required for all employees? As per KBA https://me.sap.com/notes/3594795/E , this permission is intended to be used only for system administrators in order to perform API actions, hence is not recommended to provided such permissions for regular users.
