Hello experts,
I am currently working on an integration between SuccessFactors and another Time Attendance system. We are using the employeetime API to fetch leave data from SF.
Consider this scenario: An employee has an approved training time type on December 5th, and the timesheet for that week has already been approved. The API correctly returns the employeetime with the approved time type as training and an externalCode.
Later, the admin or HR team decides to do a backdated change in the time recording for the day before the training ONLY, i.e., December 4th. The API then sends a cancellation for the original training day (December 5th), and create a new record with another external code as approved. (I think this might be happening after re-submitting the timesheet for that week again)
now i have two trainings records for the same day with two different externalCodes, one is approved and another is canceled.
Is there any solution to handle this scenario or avoid it?
