SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll & SAP System Configuration

Hi Experts,

while currently configuring an EC System with payroll I need permission to SAP System Configuration to be able to assign the SAP Payroll System to agents at a later step.
I'm currently not succesfull to grant permission for the admins account under

Administrator Permissions -> Manage SAP System Configuration -> Access to SAP System Configuration

and therefore also not to

User Permissions -> SAP System Configuration …

Any ideas what the issue might be?

UPDATE: In Addition... I checked notes below

and also played with the permission category in the security section.
Afterwards I can see the permission checkboxes hiking between the permission categories … as expected.
But no progress in general to activate the checkbox.
