Hello Team,
I have a requirement, where I need to add "End Date" in SuccessFactors Payment Information Portlet and replicate to SAP HR End Date. By standard process in SF, we need to add another record to delimit previous record, but here our business is expecting to have an End Date. I know there is an standard "End date" field but its non-editable and default the date by itself. I want an editable field.
Any suggesitons or inputs?
Thank you so much in advance for response.
Thanks!

Hi esjaintaanuja
It is a MDF object so you can enable that field to be visible and editable, but first you must be aware such as
* If it is going to replicate to SAP OnPrem- or ECP it is mandatory to have a record (depending of subtype) with a 31.12.9999 End Date field. - That is why it has that behaviour in EC, if this is the case avoid making change
* If this can generate inconsistencies for payments or even re-entries on payroll, you should restrain as well of making that change.

Hi Amilcar,
Thanks for response. Yes this need to replicate to SAP for Permanent and Temporary both types of Employees. In case of Temporary employees, they end date may not be 31.12.9999 because they will have fixed contract.
But If I want to apply only for Permanent Employees, you are saying it may generate inconsistencies for payments? Can you please eloborate on this point more?
Thanks!
Tanuja
This is a wrong understanding, As if SAP is used (IT0009) If it is a fixed term contract a termination event (personnel action) will occur but Infotype 0009 will be mandatory to exists until 31.12.9999 or can be changed to Cash, Check, etc via termination Event, but one it exists will always need to exist. What allows Payment is Occupational Statucs_ Active, Inactive, Withdraw is on Infotype 0000 Actions.

Hi Bruno, thanks for the response. But here I am talking about Payment Information portlet where we store Bank information. Not Pay Compoent recurring for salary information.
Thanks!
