SuccessFactors: Creating a "Manager Flag" on the position

Dear Experts,

We need to create a "Manager Flag" on the position. If the position has direct reports, it should be "Manager: Yes" otherwise "Manager: No".

The requirement is to configure this field with an automatism so HR admin doesn´t need to select the value manually.

How am I supposed to configure the business rule logic so it can be automatized? It should work when the position gets lower-lever positions in the position Org. Chart as well as when this position is entered as a "Higher Level Position" on another position.

To create a “Manager Flag” on the position in SAP Successfactors HXM, you can create a custom field ...¹. You can also use Business Rules for Position Management ².
