SuccessFactors: Cool features on the Home Page or Employee Profile

Dear Experts,

Can you recommend features or functions on the new SuccessFactors home page or on the Employee Profile that would be attractive for the system users to be more active in the system, personalize their profile, interact with others etc?

I am aware of the followings:

- Give a badge function for colleagues

- Set personal pronouns in the Employee Profile header

- Introductory text on the Employee Profile header

I would like to bring our users closer to our SuccessFactors system to be more interactive and feel more connected to it.

Another cool feature could be to allow employees (via configure people profile) to upload an audio file for name pronounciation or allow employees to upload an "about me" video.

Or based on specific events or locations/countries or the like make periodic tiles available on the home page with relevant and current information.

If you allow employee to customize employee profile & employee background picture, these is a nice feature to let employees "owns" the application.

You can also make a contest, which one have the funniest / coolest background image.

Work Anniversary Tile is also a good feature to make people connect more often.

Dear m.bacskai,

Besides the already mentioned features, from the People Profile employees can:

• Maintain their photos;
• Define a profile background photo;
• Having their LinkedIn and Facebook accounts integrated with the profile;
• Initiate a email by clicking on their colleagues email (in case it is maintained);
• Imitate a phone call by clicking on their colleagues phone number (in case it is maintained and integrated with a "phone" tool);
• Print their profile info in PDF

From the Home page, employee can also:

Start a colleague's recognition, as in the example below:

Start a feedback request like in the example below:

Each module will also have their own features that engage with employees, so I would recommend you to take a look into our documentation for more details on each one.
