SuccessFactors: Business rule for manager positions

Dear Community,

I´m supposed to set up a business rule in SuccessFactors that will generate an e-mail notification if a position becomes a manager position (if the position gets direct reports through the Position Org Chart). We don´t have any specific custom fields on the positions that tell if the position is a manager position. Do you have any idea, how I could build up this logic in the business rules?

Thank you for taking the time to answer me. Unfortunately, I still didn´t find a working solution.

I was also trying with the "Get number of child positions" function, to identify positions that have 1 or more child positions but it didn´t work.
