Success factors Requisation Status question

Hi All ,

Requisition Status configured in our system as 'pending approval' and 'Closed' .

We have field level permissions around the status to set who can view or edit closed requisitions , there are 100 plus requisitions in Closed Status.

Now the requirement is to change ' Closed ' to 'Closed by external candidates' and new Status to be added as 'Closed by Internal candidates',

Will this have any impact on 'closed' requisitions in the system ?

Pick list to re-imported with changed text as 'Closed by external candidates' ?

and Field level permission to be reviewed for 'Closed by external candidates' and assigned 'Closed by Internal candidates'.

is my understanding is correct , Appreciate your help on this .

The picklist values in the requisition is independent of the closing the requisition. Closing of the requisition is driven by clicking of the close button on the Requisition details screen. So the permissions need not be changed even if you rename or add a new closed status.

It is the best practise to set the value column of the picklist for closed statuses to 88888 (Search for '88888' in the implementation guide for more details). This way the system ensures that the user always select right status before closing the requisition.
