Success Factors Onboarding - Recruiter can´t see Onboardee Name

Hey everybody,

i have a problem right now, that our technical Recruiter Users can´t see the name from the Onboardee´s.

But he is able to see that there is a onboardee for his target group. So the target group normaly should be right.

For some weeks it does work and then not. Was there any update for the target groups or permissions?

Our Hiring Manager don´t have the problem and can see the Onboardee name.

Maybe somebody have any idea.

Hi Dennis,

This is related to Employee Export permission.

If your technical user has Employee Export permission with target employees, he need to to have Employee Export permission with target External Users.

Do you know if this is a new config since 9.12 ? Because before it works without this.

Hallo Dennis,

There was not any update in the 2H 2023 release related to Onboarding Dashboard permissions. Regardless, the release was implemented in Preview on 20^th October and in Production on 17^th November so it seems that your error might not be related to this release. In case you need more details about onboarding last updates in 2H 2023 check this link: SAP SuccessFactors What's New | SAP Help Portal

I would recommend you to also read this link in which you can review all the necessary permissions for the Onboarding dashboard in order to be sure that your configuration is totally correct: Permissions for the Onboarding Dashboard (New) | SAP Help Portal

And other recommendations specifically about Employee Export permission will be:

• For Admin roles, in addition to select in user type "External Onboarding User", include “everyone” in target population so they will be able to see all new hires in the dashboard.

• For Hiring Managers or other responsible groups (not admins), in addition to select in user type "External Onboarding User", we would recommend defining only the target groups they must be able to see on the dashboard. Example: user's division.

Hi, we are facing a issue that the candidate name on recruiting is different and when we check on onboarding it is different but when we open New hire data, it shows the correct first name and last name, even in reports the name from recruiting appears but when we check the process and onboarding dashboard the name is different, has anyone faced this issue

Hello,

please, never use Employee Export unless the groups need to have possibility to Export all employees data. This tool is NOT working even if you limit the access in Target popupation, it will give all employees data by default. This is data security breach if you use the permissions without a specific need.
